The Montpelier Teen Center is seeking the following items
The Basement Teen Center is in need of the following items to help with everyday activities held at the Teen Center:
Volunteers to cook meals during the trees for teens sales
Silverware/utensils
Cups Crock-pot
Medium to large size sauce pan
Small couch or love-seat
Silk screening supplies
Guitar stands/accessories
Coat rack hooks or hooks for book-bags
Dry erase board Tools (screwdriver, level, pliers)
The Newport Teen Center Needs Some Help
The Newport Teen Center is the youth hub in Orleans County providing a safe destination for youth to get help in their daily lives, a hot meal when other resources are bare and a supportive environment where they can find people who will listen.
The facilities are functional but these young people deserve the best we can provide. Northeast Kingdom Community Action is currently seeking supporters in a campaign to update facilities, equipment and resources at the Teen Center.
Specifically, the Teen Center needs:
Flooring (tile, linoleum, pretty much anything would be an upgrade to the current surface)
Tall kitchen stools
Art Supplies
Air hockey, ping-pong or pool table
Pool cues
Air pump for the sports equipment
Gardening tools
Good planting soil
Large frying pans
Tall kitchen stools
